Gas/Mineral Rights Complete!

It’s been a consuming journey, but it’s done! Coventry, as members of The White’s Chapel Corridor, have agreed and are recommending to our residents to a record Southlake deal with Chesapeake for $22,500/acre and 25% royalty.
“Fourteen WCC leaders and HOA chairs came to a consensus that Chesapeake was the best gas company to drill our mineral rights. The lease follows our charter as a group; drill and keep drilling to maximize our royalty and then leave quickly, while your here pick up after yourself and be quiet. Although Chesapeake was also the highest bidder, this was not about the bonus. Chesapeake put many more protections in the lease that have not been granted in any lease in Tarrant county to date and in the most important areas of the lease were simply willing to go the extra step in protecting our interests.”
All residents will be receiving a copy of the lease along with other closing documents for review in the next couple of weeks. This will give every member time to review before signing.
To avoid any confusion or disinformation, all official COVENTRY MANOR communications will originate from the Coventry Mineral Lease Committee or the Coventry HOA Board via e-mail or direct mailing. Please do not respond or reply to communications from any gas company, WCC or anyone else claiming to act on behalf of Coventry Manor. Thank you in advance for your patience through this process.
The closing meetings will begin within a couple of weeks and I will be sending detailed instructions to Coventry Manor residents which should answer all of your questions.
